Virtual and in-person therapy sessions offered in the Comox Valley, BC.

Hello, fellow human

I'm Kelly (she/her), and it's lovely to see you here.

As a dedicated counsellor, ecotherapist, and educator, I am committed to guiding people on this journey called life. Whether you seek support for mental health concerns, life transitions, or simply a space to explore and reflect, I am here to walk alongside you, offering a compassionate and empowering space.

At the heart of my practice lies the profound belief that everything in life is interconnected: We Are Kin. Embracing a holistic approach,

I am dedicated to highlighting your strengths and resilience and guiding you toward a deeper connection with yourself, the humans around you, and the natural world we are all part of.

Counselling offers a safe, caring space to explore your challenges, whatever they may be. My collaborative, strength-based approach is tailored uniquely to you and your needs. I draw from various approaches centered around mindfulness, the mind-body connection, identifying core values, and exploring the stories of your life and the world around you. With kindness, curiosity, and sometimes a touch of humour, I will examine your life and its challenges with you and help you on your path to growth.

Ecotherapy, also called nature-based therapy, is a counselling approach that taps into the healing power of nature to enhance your well-being.

Activities like walking in nature (walk-and-talk therapy), or simply being in an outdoor setting are integrated into our sessions. My goal is to help you (re)connect to the supportive energy of the natural world we are all part of. Nature-based therapy is suitable for all ages and abilities and is often embraced by folks who don't like therapy in an office or virtually.

My educational services encompass a range of presentations, workshops, and training sessions for schools, organizations, and companies centered around overall well-being and mental health, (re)connecting to nature, and navigating the impacts of climate change on our mental health. Through engaging, hands-on, and experiential activities, I aim to bring participants on a journey of self-discovery and connection to themselves, their community, and the natural world.

“Just because no one else can heal or do your inner work for youdoesn’t mean you can, should, or need to do it alone.” — Lisa Olivera
